Auburn Chemical Engineering

 1The AU Bulletin lists the University Core Curriculum requirements for students in the College of Engineering.  Students must complete a categorization in either Literature or History.  Because of the disciple specific requirements for the Humanities courses, it is suggested that a History sequence be completed in the Social Sciences courses. 

Electives, Technical Electives: See counsellor for approved course listing. As a minimum three hours of Technical Electives ought to be coursework calculated as Engineering Topics.

CHEM 1110, 1111, 1120 and 1121 are chosen, except CHEM 1030, 1031, 1040 and 1041 are good enough substitutes. Honors sections of all courses will be acknowledged for this prospectus.

Preferred Qualifications: The aspirants chosen for these positions must demonstrate a well-built commitment and potential to excel at both research and teaching in the area of chemical engineering. Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must have Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a closely linked field.
